About Me
Currently teaching Radio Production to Further Education students in Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick, Claire O'Mahony has over 15 years' experience as a journalist both in print and radio. She has been a reporter, sub-editor, and chief sub-editor on a variety of different print publications. Some of the publications she has worked for include The Kerryman, The Practitioner, Public Finance, New Start and The Daily Express in London.
She has broadcast on Radio Kerry, C103 in Cork, West Limerick 102 and CRC fm in Castlebar. A freelance journalist, she also creates websites. Having worked in the Public, Private and Community & Voluntary Sectors, Claire brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her courses. She has a Diploma in Radio Production, the Train the Trainer qualification, a marketing and public relations qualification, and a degree in English. |
