...a laptop and a projector per classroom can only be a start. However with more than €3bn cuts expected  in the forthcoming budget it's unlikely that each child will be given an iPad anytime soon. But if the government could persuade education publishers to back e-publishing  perhaps parents could purchase an e-book reader instead of paying out hundreds for school books each year bringing our classrooms into the 21st century and encouraging students to open their books.
